Option B: Manual steps

In‑app: Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Data and follow prompts for each module.
Email: Send a request to privacy@smartvidhya.example from your registered email with your name, phone, and User ID.
Verify: We will verify your identity via OTP/email within 72 hours.
Deletion: We will complete deletion within 30 days (often sooner) and notify you when done.
Tip: If you only want to stop messages, you can update Notifications or Marketing Preferences instead of full deletion.
Legal retention exceptions

We may retain limited data where required by law or to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Such data is restricted, access‑controlled, and minimized.

What happens to backups?

Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. Deleted data becomes inaccessible immediately and is fully purged as backups rotate.

Can I reverse a deletion?

No. Once processed, deletion is irreversible. Consider exporting your data before requesting deletion.
